Icebreaker Questions Answered by a Cat Lady

Great news! The cat lady got the job based on her answers to yesterday’s “tell me about a time” job interview questions.

Now, it’s her first day of work, and she’s meeting her team. The boss decided that icebreaker questions would be fun…

She’ll be answering questions from this list of icebreaker questions for work.

There are now 25 hours in a day! So how do you spend your extra hour?

I would spend that extra hour hanging out with cats. Petting them, playing with them, or taking a nap with them. Their choice!

What activity helps you relieve stress?

Petting cats while watching a movie.

What would you do if you could have any job in the world?

Not this one! I would be a full-time stay-at-home cat mom.

Are you a dog person or a cat person?

I’m a cat person (if the workplace is casual, the cat lady is wearing a cat-themed t-shirt). However, I do like other people’s dogs.

“I have nine cats!” she says gleefully.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

I would choose for every cat to like me, including the feral cats that avoid humans.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I am content with my current location, but if I had to choose somewhere, I would choose the Ernest Hemingway Estate in Florida or the Lanai Cat Sanctuary in Hawaii.

Or maybe be close to them for regular visits, but I could still have a house to live in with my cats.

What’s your favorite holiday?

National Cat Day because cats are my favorite!

The team and the boss quickly realize that the new person is a cat lady.

All her answers involve cats! And she’s very curious to know who else on the team has a cat.
