Top 10 Boxed Cat Christmas Cards 2018

I choose these 10 sets of boxed cat Christmas boxes after browsing through more than 100 choices around the web.

Here are the criteria I used the make this list: the cards have a cat on it (obviously), be a boxed set (not cards sold individually), be cute or funny (which is subjective and clearly state the message that is on the inside of the card.

You can read my annual holiday letter here (it's about the cats).

For convenience, all of these cards can are on Amazon. All links in this article are affiliate links, and I will earn a referral commission (at no extra cost to you) if you click through and make a purchase. You may be able to find the same cards on other sites or in local stores for a lower price.

One advantage of boxed cards is that the cost per card is often less than buying individual cards. Most of the boxes will have between 10 and 20 cards, with a few available in greater quantities.

1. "Squeaky's Christmas" by Lang

Lang is one of my favorite brand of cards. The cards are printed on high-quality paper, and I love the artwork.  Lowell Herrero is the artist that created this cat card. I choose this one as my number one choice as I will be sending out to friends and family in 2018.

Squeaky looks a little crabby about wearing the Merry Christmas sweater! The images below show the front and inside on the card, and you can see it on Amazon here.

Inside Message: "Sending you warm wishes to let you know we are thinking of you this Christmas."

2. Tabby Cat in Snow Holiday Cards

This beautiful orange tabby holiday card reminds me of Pork Chop, a feral cat that comes to my yard. He's an orange tabby cat with a white chest. For the winter, Pork Chop can live in the cat shed on our deck or one of the other cat shelters.

The cat on the card looks like it is sleeping while sitting and the green scarf is quite cute. And, with the snow on its left ear, it seems like it could be "ear-tipped" like Pork Chop (feral cats that have been through Trap-Neuter-Return get an ear-tip).

The message is "Season's Greetings" on the inside of the card. Click here to see the card on Amazon.

3. Cat Christmas Cards with cats wearing Santa hats

This boxed set consists of 10 sets of 2 cards with whimsical cats in different poses. These cards are a great choice if you want a bit of variety in the cards you are sending out.

I like how the red hat stands out on the black cat. Also, the long tail looks mischievous.

The cards are slightly smaller than a standard card. Click here to see the cards on Amazon.

4. Snowman and cat happy holidays card

The snowman making a snowcat is adorable!  And the 3 cats at the base of the snowcat look lovable and friendly.  The winter scene captured on the card is a delight!

Two of the cats on the front are also in the inside. The message on the inside says "Caring. sharing. loving. laughing....Wishing you holidays filled with everything and everyone you love."

5. Funny Boxed Christmas Cat Cards with jingle bells and a bobtail pun

The card is funny! Bob, the cat, is wearing bells on his tail. The inside of the card says "Bells on Bob's tail ring." This is a reference to the lyrics of Jingle Bells which include "bells on bob tails ring."

I don't think that "tinkle" is necessary on the card, but it's still funny and perfect to send to people in your life that appreciate puns.

6. Coffee shop cats chatting about Christmas

It's fun to think about what cats would say if they chatted with each other! The cats on this cards are "stressed out" with their holiday activities.

We don't put up a tree at my house, because it feels like too much hassle and risk of the cats knocking it down! We made a "tree" out of boxes one year, but the cats didn't like it!

The text inside the card says “Hope your holidays are a knockout! Merry Christmas.” Click here to view this card on Amazon.

7. Christmas cats busted - funny boxed cards

This set of Christmas cat cards is a line up of 3 guilty looking cats! In the box, you will get 8 cards of each design (so 24 total cards). The sayings inside the cards vary. You can read them on Amazon.

8. Assorted Humor Cat Christmas Cards

This is a set of 36 cat cards each with a different design. You get one of each card.

Whether you find them funny, will depend on your sense of humor. These cards are not for everyone. You'll want to look at them closely on Amazon, to decide if you know people that would appreciate the jokes on them.

I included this boxed set because of the variety in one box. And I realize that some people will find these cards hilarious. There are cards that I wouldn't want to give to my parents, but perhaps they would work for the right friend.

9. Too Many Treats Cat Christmas Cards

Woe! Looks like this cat indulged too much in Christmas candy (don't feed your cats candy in real life). The cat is cute and and the scene looks believable.

I put this card on the list because you can order it in different quantities! If you want 10 or 100 of the same card,  you can order your desired amount on Amazon.

The inside message is ""The stockings were hung by the chimney with care!" Click here to view the card on Amazon.

10. Christmas kittens in stockings boxed card set

Kittens! Need I say more? These cards are on this list because of the beautiful kittens in the stockings.

The inside message is "May the holidays be filled with your favorite things! Merry Christmas"

The saying reminds me of first line of the lyrics in the song "My favorite things" which are "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens."

Like the cards from #9, Amazon gives you a choice of how many you want to order - 10, 20, 50, or 100. Click here to view this card on Amazon.

This was my list of the 10 best boxed Cat Christmas Cards available in 2018. To be included on the list, the cards needed to be a boxed set, cat themed, and the inside message clearly displayed on Amazon.

Annual holiday card letter written by a cat lady! - December 14, 2018

[…] I like reading annual year-end letters sent in holiday cards (I don’t get sent any, but I read many sent to my parents). So I thought it would be fun to write a Christmas letter about the cats but never refer to them as cats in the letter. You can see my favorite cat-themed Christmas cards here. […]
